Stephen Krill is the Vice President of Creative and Marketing Strategy for CNN Worldwide, overseeing marketing for CNN, CNN International and CNN en Español. In that role he is responsible for brand promotion as well as the promotion of individual titles across daily news shows, weekly lifestyle shows, Original Series, films and specials. He leads a team of creative directors, strategists, writer/producers, art directors and designers, as well as external agencies to conceive and produce creative across all channels for both internal and external media placements. His team also oversees marketing for CNN’s digital properties, including CNN Underscored and CNN Audio. Previously, Stephen was a Director of Marketing for CNN Worldwide, responsible for properties across the CNN portfolio, including live news shows like New Day and Out Front with Erin Burnett; CNN Original Series such as This Is Life with Lisa Ling, Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy and Lincoln: Divided We Stand; CNN Films, including the Oscar-nominated RBG and the Sundance Audience Award Winner Three Identical Strangers; and HLN Original Series like Unmasking A Killer and Very Scary People. A 2007 graduate of Marist with a major in Communications, Stephen began his career in television production and has credits in film, television and advertising.
